History
Hollow Tree Self Storage was founded in 2019 by four partners local to Darien, CT – Robert Wood, Tim Wood, John Hertz & Paul Hertz.
They have been in the storage industry since 1990, owning Affordable Storage in Norwalk, CT. Upon their discovery of a need for additional storage among the Darien community and surrounding towns, they found this perfectly located plot of land ideal for meeting the storage needs of the community and its local businesses.
HTSS&WV was designed with state-of-the-art sustainable features, including a rooftop solar farm that powers virtually all of the facility, fully gated building and parking spaces, advanced 24-hour surveillance cameras, individual alarms for each unit, and on-site property management team. We also offer 30 different sizes to meet all of our customers’ storage needs no matter how large or small. We also offer drive-up garage units for car storage, drive-in bays, a loading dock for business drop shipments, parking for boats, RV’s and motorcycles, and commuter parking right across Noroton Heights Train Station.
Our goal is to build relationships with our customers and community; to be the preferred local partner in self-storage and an asset to the community. We pride ourselves in providing both the best modern state of the art facility and outstanding management team.
